Hi all, trying to arrange an online purchase from Leroy Merlin from the uk and to arrange assembly of item. I’m still in the early stages of Spanish lessons so I’m finding it difficult to  communicate. Has anyone any advice please?

Hi we did this and it was a nightmare. The item was faulty and found it difficult to communicate online. Went to the store but all they kept saying was that they were a different company to the online shop! . In the end we managed to arrange a refund and that they would pick up the furniture to coincide with our next visit but they turned up a month early ! The refund was processed straight away but the furniture was never picked up. From now on l only order in store at least if there is a problem they will sort it

Quite frequently, items on the LM website are not directly supplied by LM. It appears they run a Marketplace online which obviously supplies items from third party suppliers, somewhat similar to Amazon. El Corte Inglés seems to do the same thing with various items, hence why they cannot be collected in store etc.

Your best solution would either be to hire a Spanish speaker in UK and get them to deal with LM on your behalf, or perhaps a friend here who can communicate with them.

Trying to contact this company is a mission impossible mammoth task.
A few months ago I wanted to buy a few metres of electricity cables.  It took 7 adult employees to eventually serve me.  They all had to get different types of permission, and it took almost 2 hours.

Hi ,we had our bathroom done last year, we used Leroy Merlin but we went into the store and spoke with a lovey lady with very good English. We had a small issue, but we had her telephone number after we purchased and she was able to talk with the fitters for us.

Hope this helps

Hi,

We found the store near to La zenia boulevard was great if ordering direct. Plenty of fluent English speakers. We tried online. Nightmare!  As previously said the chances of getting an online order successfully completed from the UK will be a real challenge. If you can wait, best go in to store.
